Covid-19 Update: You can still order with Gr8Fires

Given the current Covid-19 pandemic, we wanted to give a quick update on the situation. In short:

Some customers have been in touch before placing orders to check whether they will be fulfilled. We can confirm that they will be. If the situation changes for any reason, we will let you know as soon as possible.

For now, we have been fortunate not to have directly felt the impact of coronavirus. Since we sell only via our website, we have not had to deal with issues around a sudden drop in footfall, as some retailers have. Similarly, we’ve not had to mitigate the risk of visitors to a bricks-and-mortar store spreading the virus since we don’t have a store.

Our staff have been doing everything possible to limit exposure to the virus, including regular hand-washing and use of hand sanitiser.

Additionally, we are operating split teams, so that half of our staff are working from home and half from the office on any given day (and the two teams never mix). Again, any measures we can take to limit potentially exposure to the virus for our team we will do so.

As long as the current situation continues and our delivery partners are able to continue their regular service, you shouldn’t notice any changes to your shopping experience.

In the meantime, please stay safe and we hope you manage to avoid any ill effects – medical, financial or otherwise – from the confusing times in which we currently find ourselves.
