How to replace the internal parts on a Mazona Olympus multi-fuel stove

You’ve removed all the components on your Mazona Olympus stove. Perhaps you’ve been fitting a spare or maybe you want to get everything out to give it a good clean. The question is, how do you rebuild it to become a fully-functioning multi-fuel stove once again?

Hopefully you’ll be sure of the answer by the time you reach the end of this article.

1. We’re working to the assumption that you’re starting with an empty stove that looks like this:
01 EMPTY STOVE

2. The first step is to replace the rear plate at the back of your stove.

3. Now, get the left plate ready…

5. It’s the turn of the right plate next. Get it ready and then fit it as you did the left plate.

6. By this stage you should all the plates in and you stove will look like this:

7. The next step is to get your grate ready…

9. Get the baffle ready.

10. Now, place the baffle on top of the plates.

11. You should see a small post sticking out of the inner wall of the stove slightly above where the baffle is currently resting.

12. Rest the baffle onto this post.

  1. Hi. I have found it useful as an ‘aide memoir’ to take photos with a digital camera or phone camera to assist in re-assembling complex mechanical items.

  2. hi do you have one of these for the orlando by any chance? I cant seem to get the heat/baffle plate and top heat plate fitted right.. help

  3. i am looking for new plates for my log burner i am wondering if you can help me to find a place to get new ones thanks r nicolson

  4. Thank you so much for the easy to follow instructions, how to fit a baffle plate. I was struggling to fit my new plate, being a woman on my own, and trying to fit it with out instructions, never done this before, I had the plate upside down, and every which way but the right one. Hurray I have done it ready in time for winter.

  5. Just looked at your pictorial demo. A bit more tricky with the Aarow Acorn as it has a raking system rather than one solid piece for the base. I took the five or six individual pieces out and laid them on the floor in the exact order I removed them otherwise I may have got in a mess beyond the ash and soot.

    • Hi Victor

We don’t have any in stock, so it would just be a case of a Google search to see if anyone has any stock left (that model has been discontinued).

      Thanks,
